I am an 18 year old student in West Sussex, England and I am taking a year out (2006-2007) before going to university.  I have already made plans for the majority of the year, however, this year would provide an ample oppurtunity for me to travel to one of my most desirable destinations:  Jerusalem.  Having studied the Crusades in Medieval History and being a Christian, I have  both strong historical and religious motives for visiting the Holy City.  Unfortunately, because of the potential dangers of the Lebanon, I am unwilling to go alone, which is my primary objective in making this website.  As none of my family or friends (who are busily packing off to university) are willing to accompany me, I endeavour to to form a small group of 'Crusaders', if you will, to travel with me to the Holy Land for either religious or historical purposes...

If you would care to join me, here are the guidelines that I propose:

-This website is targeted at those in a position similar to mine, so please take this in consideration before leaving a message.

-You must finance yourself, paying your own way throughout the entire expedition

-As the trip is still pending, I do not know how long it will last, though I certainly intend to visit Jerusalem itself and maybe some Crusader castles.

-It would certainly prove most beneficial for you to share the same historical/religious enthusiasm as me.  You do not have to be a Historical lecturer, nor do you have to be the most pious person in the world, but I will not put up with a band of rogues following me around.  Consider this wisely.
